We had a fantastic stay at a lodge in this city. The staff were amazing and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooftop apartment, with its fine 360-degree view, was a real treat. The bed was super comfortable and there were many amenities available. The cleanliness of the hotel was perfect and the facilities, especially the top floor and roof terrace, were cool and relaxing. The hotel's location provided great views and convenient access to nearby attractions. The breakfast served was delicious and the staff were pretty good too provide excellent service.
None.

The Sea Star Lodge provided a delightful and comfortable experience for senior visitors like me. The decoration throughout the hotel was lovely, with a charming mix of modern and classic touches. The general areas, such as the shared living room and rooftop terrace, were spacious and well-maintained, providing plenty of room to relax and enjoy the breathtaking sea views. The accessibility of the hotel was also excellent, with easy navigation and facilities designed with senior guests in mind.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be wonderful if the staff could offer assistance in carrying luggage to and from the rooms. With the children working there, a helping hand with the heavy bags would be greatly appreciated by us seniors.

We ticked off two major items from our bucket list - whale watching and cage diving! The whale watching was mind-blowing, with massive whales breaching right in front of our eyes. And the cage diving? OMG, it was pure adrenaline rush! We got up close and personal with those majestic creatures. Best thrill ever!
Wish there were more late-night party options nearby. After all the excitement during the day, we were ready to dance the night away.

The Expedition Room at Sea Star Lodge is absolutely breathtaking! The sea view from the bath, shower, and cozy Queen-size bed is simply amazing. I felt like I was in paradise, surrounded by luxury and tranquility. As someone who loves to relax by the beach, this room was a dream come true.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the Rooftop Rooms. Although they are unique being on the top floor of Sea Star Lodge, I felt they lacked the intimacy and coziness that I was looking for.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, overlooking the ocean and the bay. We were fortunate enough to spot a whale right from our breakfast table, which was a memorable experience. the staff were friendly and accommodating, always trying their best to make us feel comfortable. the breakfast served every morning was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.
The rooms were not well-maintained, with mold in some areas and cracks in others. the bed linens and pillow cases were stained, although the host did replace them promptly.

The location was perfect for our whale watching dream. We were able to witness these majestic creatures up close and personal, creating memories that will last a lifetime. The hiking trail to Walker Bay Nature Reserve and the untouched sandy beaches provided endless hours of exploration for our children. It was truly a nature lover's paradise. Additionally, the staff at Sea Star Lodge were exceptional, ensuring that our needs were met with a smile. The breakfast spread was delicious and the personal service made us feel right at home.
My wife says that it would have been great if Sea Star Lodge had more activities specifically catered towards children. The property was wonderful for adults, but we felt that our children would have enjoyed some additional amenities or organized activities to keep them entertained.
